Babysitter Class

Babysitter Class

Students will learn the fundamentals of childcare, such as feeding and diapering, child safety, such as choking emergencies and home hazards, and also learn CPR/AED. Parents, this is a great class to build confidence as your pre-teen/young teen may be entering the world of babysitting, or if they are starting to stay home alone for the first time. The class is taught by using an assortment of relevant videos, hands-on skill learning sessions, and games. Enrolled students will receive a 30+ page Babysitting Safety digital course book prior to the start of class, a certificate of completion for the babysitting portion of the class, an 80-page American Heart Association Friends & Family student manual, and a Friends and Family CPR participation certificate.
