Burn Ban In Effect

As temperatures rise and more people get outside early this week, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) asks the public to stay vigilant and avoid burning because of high fire danger statewide.

Lack of snow cover and accumulated rain statewide are causing an early start to Wisconsin's wildfire season. Over the past week alone, the DNR responded to 15 wildfires, burning nearly 30 acres.

To help keep Ledgeview safe,  the Ledgeview Fire Department asks you to avoid all outdoor burning, including limiting the use of campfires and bonfires.

Burn permits are suspended until further notice. Keep up to date by following the news on our website.
