
Finance plays a key role in assisting the Administrator and Town Board with the annual budget preparation. The Treasurer/Finance Department is responsible for the accounting and financial operations for the Town, which includes:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Cash receipting
- Investment of town funds
- Working with Town auditors
- Financial forecasting and budgeting
- Debt administration
- Property Tax Bills, receipt of first payment
- Set mil/tax rate and manage collected funds
- Sewer and water billing and collection
- Annual Financial Report & Bond Rating
