Ledgeview’s Beautification Committee is continuing a public art initiative for the town with continued trail paintings on the East River Trail. The Beautification Committee recognizes that public art creates a vibrant atmosphere that contributes to the quality and cultural identity of our community. The committee is working to promote art in Ledgeview that encourages cultural expressions, promotes our unique natural beauty, and inspires a sense of civic pride. After an extremely successful 2023 trail painting project, a new Call for Artists for the project is available on the Town’s website. The Town of Ledgeview is looking for an artist to work with us to carry out this mission and placed a call for entries for a series of 3 trail paintings. Upon selection and approval of a qualified artist (or team of artists), additional trail paintings will continue along the East River Trail in Ledgeview Park. Artist proposals are due April 9th and work must be completed by October 15th.
