Beginning January 1, 2026, our Yard Waste Site will be located at the new address listed below

Location:

The Yard Waste site is located at 1915 Scray Hill Road (behind the Public Works Facility Building)

Hours:

The site is open 7 days a week from dawn until dusk

Access the site:

Access to the Yard Waste Site is limited to Town of Ledgeview residents. To enter, residents must obtain a key fob from the Community Center. Please note that entry will not be permitted without a key fob.

What you need to obtain a key fob:

To obtain a key FOB for site access, you’ll need to provide proof of residence, along with your email and phone number. Please note that if you move, the key FOB must be returned to the Town Offices. Apply for a key fob.

Return policy for key fob:

Please note that the key fob is only issued for as long as you reside at your current address. If you move, you must return the key fob to the Community Center.

If the key fob is lost or stolen, a $10.00 replacement fee will apply.

Who can use the Compost Facility:

The site is open to residents of the Town of Ledgeview. Contractor Use is Prohibited (Regardless of whether you are a Ledgeview resident, if you own a landscaping business, you are not allowed to utilize this site).

Accepted Items:

Residents may bring their loose leaves, grass clippings, garden waste, and brush to the Town's Yard Waste Site

Unacceptable Items:

Rocks/stone/concrete, trash, landscaping timbers/lumber, dirt, and used mulch/wood chips are NOT accepted at this location.

Is there anything I can take out of the Yard Waste Site?

Residents can pick up wood chips, mulch, and logs at no charge when available. Town equipment will not be available to assist with loading. Hand loading only.

Site Security/Surveillance:

This site is under surveillance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please report any illegal activity happening at the site by emailing gpotts [at] ledgeview.wi.gov (gpotts[at]ledgeview[dot]wi[dot]gov).
